Deadly for sure

An accident with a marlin 25 killed my brother.[sad2] Just one shot. I told my son the story the first day I took him to the rifle range (while we were loading up his marlin 25). He takes it very seriously.
 
Oh man, I like those prices. A whole firearm for the price of a box of ammo in 2008 dollars!
 
Major thread resurrection......but worth the read IMO

I like history, it's interesting to see the mindset 70 years ago with all the uncertainty at that point in time.

Anyone else know of any good wartime articles in gun mags?
