@pastera the pot cover and probe holder are awesome and I can’t thank you enough. My casting pot was being a bit of a pain and it was the cause of some of the flaws but the mold was dropping bullets like a champ. The alloy was a mix of everything laying around with some pewter thrown in. I’m going to coat them today before I pour more just as a test.

Another success on coat one…. Bean below have three coats. After the next two coats I have to mix a diff color.

Don’t do it in your kitchen lol.
Garage is fine with a window open but the acetone baking off does get a little smelly and smoky.

I don’t think it’s to bad when you bake it… my wife complained when I remelted the failures.
