Early goose season kicked off in MA and CT this week. Who else is getting out?

Wasn’t expecting much this AM.. just wanted to get out for a few hours and relax.
We saw a few birds flying around but not much
Was able to call in this solo bird even without decoys.
Emmit showed off his stuff with a nice retrieve.

I’ll be getting to my usual early season blind tomorrow morning. It’s almost always nothing but wood ducks there this time of the season and then once regular season kicks off, the woodies have packed up and left and the Mallards are in.
What sucks is my back is fairly screwed up from helping someone change a tire on a Ram truck last night in the rain & dark. :/
No good deed goes unpunished indeed.

I took half of MA coastal off and struck out. Attribute most of it to warm and windless conditions. I’ve been scouting a few nice central marshes and bogs that aren’t too far away from the Southcoast area.

I pretty much only hunt on Cape. Years ago when I worked in Carver I would randomly try spots out that way for deer, Turkey, and duck. Got skunked every time. Seems to me we do better in places we know well. Home court and all. ;)

I’m in a good spot where my town is split in half by the coastal/central zone. I have a few central spots that are only a short drive from me.

Anyone see this case in ND?

Update on the post above:

This is tough to take. Being near a boundary?
Dustin Wolf, 23, of West Fargo was charged with criminal trespass, a Class B misdemeanor, according to court records.

In his report on the incident, Myhre wrote that while Ermer wanted the hunters ticketed for trespassing, the boundary line between the cornfield and the soybean field was “not a legally justifiable boundary to determine legal trespass.”

However, since Wolf was specifically told not to go near Ermer’s property line and did, there was probable cause to charge him with criminal trespass, Myhre wrote.

I think the trespassing issue stems from permission to hunt from the bean field owner was conditional upon staying away from Ermer's property line. Kinda fuzzy but I assume the wrong part of the bean field was the trespassing problem as they were not on douche bag's cornfield.
