If they ran the race at Homestead without fans in the seats, would anybody watching on TV really notice a difference ???

I haven't seen full grandstands at Homestead since I was there for that yawnfest inagural Cup race in 1999. [laugh]
(Tony Stewart won it in #20 Home depot Pontiac)

I've watched the two virtual races, and enjoyed them a lot more than I expected to.
Some of the commentary is pretty funny, where they don't have to worry about drivers getting injured in the crashes.
Mike Joy saying "he hit everything but the lottery" comes to mind.
And it looks a lot more realistic than I expected, since the last time I saw racing in essentially video game form, it was "Pole Position" on the Atari. Little pixilated open-wheel cars.
I'll continue watching the iRacing. I think the next one is virtual Bristol.
I wonder how much green flag time there will be.
Could be a case of the pace car leading the most laps.

Yeah. I know nothing of this streaming.
I'm lucky I can figure out how to post in these forums.
I've watched the races on tv. I forget if it's regular Fox or one of its offshoots.

Bowyer needs to put a cup holder on his rig and have a beer or two while playing.
They need to figure out a virtual flyover
