It won't make a bit of difference, but those of us with two Democratic US Senators and Democratic US Reps can express our disapproval with this document to them.

2 Ending the Epidemic of Gun Violence
3
4 Gun violence is a public health crisis in the United States. Nearly 40,000 people die annually
5 from guns—devastating countless families, friends, and communities. Addressing the gun
6 violence crisis requires supporting evidence-based programs that prevent gun deaths from
7 occurring in the first place, including by making mental health care more accessible, funding
8 interventions to reduce homicides and gun violence in neighborhoods, and strengthening
9 protections against domestic violence. Democrats will also ensure the Centers for Disease
10 Control and Prevention have sufficient resources to study gun violence as a public health issue.
11
12 Democrats will enact universal background checks, end online sales of guns and ammunition,
13 close dangerous loopholes that currently allow stalkers and some individuals convicted of assault
14 or battery to buy and possess firearms, and adequately fund the federal background check
15 system. We will close the “Charleston loophole” and prevent individuals who have been
16 convicted of hate crimes from possessing firearms. Democrats will ban the manufacture and sale
17 of assault weapons and high capacity magazines. We will incentivize states to enact licensing
18 requirements for owning firearms and “red flag” laws that allow courts to temporarily remove
19 guns from the possession of those who are a danger to themselves or others. We will pass
20 legislation requiring that guns be safely stored in homes. And Democrats believe that gun
21 companies should be held responsible for their products, just like any other business, and will
22 prioritize repealing the law that shields gun manufacturers from civil liability.

All their Burn Loot Murder have guns now.
They going to tell them they plan to take them away ?
More like a very small percentage of them legally have firearms now, and some armed groups who might or might not be marching specifically in support of BLM--like NFAC--have been getting big press.

Also, this doc should not be confused with the Biden campaign's tome on firearm prohibition.

I'd like to see them get their asses kicked because of supporting all of the violence this year. People just fearing for their lives and voting against those that want you to some how trust the police that they don't trust and want to defund. It would be a great slap in the face.

I'd suggest that every dem in the country seek to host or attend a Rev. Jim Jones party.....and they all have a nice big frosty mug of the laced koolaide.

We're gonna need a bigger hanging platform... Not enough room up there for all the Democrat @ssholes that deserve that treatment!
Not a problem, there are plenty of "shovel ready jobs" touted by the previous communist regime that never materialized and were never filled.....we'll just change the name to "hammer ready" and actually put them to work.

Unfortunately, precious few casual ("Independent") voters bother to pay any attention to the specifics of ANY individual issue. They just eat what they're fed by the squeakiest wheel and play "pin the tail on the donkey" with their ballots on election day. The problem for Trump this time, unlike last time is that he's actually President this time. Whether or not he's responsible for the violence and mayhem we're going through, he's going to be blamed for it on at least some level by this ADHD-ridden group of undecided voters. Unlike those of us who actually pay attention, all they are going to say is they want the craziness to stop and they'll blindly assume changing presidents equals a change in the craziness.

I firmly believe the only hope at this point is the debates. When Biden's deepening dementia is on full display during the debates and voters are able to see the stark contrast between the two of them standing side-by-side, it MAY shake things up. Even so, it's still obvious to me that just like 2016 it is going to end up being a case of "he who is dumbest last, loses", right up to election day.
