I don't know that they are equivalent. AB is a talented wingnut. Hernandez was a psychopath.

I always kind of figured that Welker left the Patriots in part because Hernandez threatened him in the locker room one day and Welker thought he was capable of carrying out the threat.

No one ever said that, but the circumstances of Welker leaving seemed odd to me at the time.

But, I digress. For Brown it will come down to whether he will do as he's told. Show up to meetings and practices on time. Be able to

I'd bet a weeks pay he does not make it through the season.

I figured Kraft learned his lesson with Aaron Hernandes...

Now, to drift way off topic. I watched "The Sum of All Fears" for the first time a few weeks ago. Back then, Bridget Moynahan had it all over Gisele. Just saying.

As of yet, I can find no odds at any casino, which is not surprising as they don't usually post a lot of prop bets at this time of year. Personally, I think it's more likely that Gisele will leave Tom for me than that AB will last the year in good stead. Still, I said the same thing about Randy Moss. Gisele still hasn't called.

Well, Gisele is worth $400 million; Bridget $25 million. Neither is shabby, but one is in the nice house in LA territory, the other, I can do/live/travel anywhere anyhow I want territory. To me, having a loving partner in life is worth way more than any of that, but still, if I have the first (which I do), having the $ isn't a bad perc.

Dare I hope?

"On the heels of the Antonio Brown signing, speculation for the return of tight end Rob Gronkowski is heating up after the former All-Pro was recorded on video catching passes with the New England Patriots during a return visit to Gillette Stadium on Saturday night.

A caption on an Instagram message posted Saturday in Foxboro by former Patriot, Willie McGinest, read: "news will drop tomorrow night."
“Major comebacks happening in Foxboro stay tuned news will drop tomorrow night,” McGinest said."

Gronk is retired and never playing again, that's my 2 cents. He went out on top.

Brown want's a Superbowl ring and part of me thinks this was a plan all along. Patriots wanted Brown but Steelers would not trade him to the Pats under any circumstance. Can he hold it together, probably not.

But the Pats are definitely improved big time if he can. A good offense along with a good defense.

I’ll take the other side of both those bets.

Watch the "major comeback" be Charlie Weis returning as a towel boy.

who the hell is the center? He's snapping the ball so slow the D-linemen are already in the backfield by the time Brady gets the snap.

My daughter that doesn't really follow football that much just came into the room, glanced at the TV, and asked: "when did Wesley Snipes start coaching football", made me laugh :D

With the way things are going in Pittsburgh, I don't think he's going to be there much longer. 13 years is enough, Tomlin got them to two super bowls, but he's not getting them to any more. Not with the Pats and now KC tearing thru the AFC.

Pittsburgh doesnt fire head coaches. Tomlin is their third coach in fifty years. I'd be surprised if he got fired.

After the Pats score here they should pull Brady. He's been hit twice on this drive, no reason for any more tonight when the Pats are going to win.
