Looks like Kraft made some moves in Florida... not sure the result of his 'indiscretion' is going to help.

Personally I wont watch the Patriots anymore if they sign Kaepernick.
Nobody is going to sign Kaepernick never mind the Patriots..... [rofl] he sucks and he wants too much money/prestige which means that he's likely never going to come back to the league. Or if he does he's going to have to settle for not being a starter....

this. I dont see anybody knocking on the door of a guy with 72 career TDs and 30 career INTS. Not for the money he'd want.
He's on the street because he sucks.

I find it very amusing that this thread starts the same way every year. “Patriots won their last Super Bowl.” “They are done”. By the playoffs everyone will change their opinions. It’s very apparent by now that no matter what Belichick ends up with he can turn that talent into a contender. The negativity from some of you guys makes me think football Sunday would be better enjoyed getting repeatedly kicked in the nuts for the afternoon.

It's not like he needs the money.

Trent Brown signed with Detroit for a reported $66 million, $36.5 guaranteed. Biggest payday for a lineman in NFL history. Oh, and Amendola won't be playing in Foxboro. He signed with the Lions, too.

Bennet said he can't wait to speak to BB and 12 about Trump support. Should be one grunt, a snort, then umm, yeah.

Go away!
Yeah, and he says he will remain in the locker room during the National Anthem play. He should be loudly booed when he takes the field.

One of the best TEs retiring:

Rob Gronkowski announces retirement from football

  • It all started at 20 years old on stage at the NFL draft when my dream came true, and now here I am about to turn 30 in a few months with a decision I feel is the biggest of my life so far. I will be retiring from the game of football today. I am so grateful for the opportunity that Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick gave to me when drafting my silliness in 2010. My life experiences over the last 9 years have been amazing both on and off the field. The people I have meet, the relationships I have built, the championships I have been apart of, I just want to thank the whole New England Patriots organization for every opportunity I have been giving and learning the great values of life that I can apply to mine. Thank you to all of Pats Nation around the world for the incredible support since I have been apart of this 1st class organization. Thank you for everyone accepting who I am and the dedication I have put into my work to be the best player I could be. But now its time to move forward and move forward with a big smile knowing that the New England Patriots Organization, Pats Nation, and all my fans will be truly a big part of my heart for rest of my life. It was truly an incredible honor to play for such a great established organization and able to come in to continue and contribute to keep building success. To all my current and past teammates, thank you for making each team every year special to be apart of. I will truly miss you guys. Cheers to all who have been part of this journey, cheers to the past for the incredible memories, and a HUGE cheers to the uncertain of whats next.

I’m not terribly surprised, I said it before last season that this could be his last. But at the same time after watching him play I still hoped he’d stick around. I’m sure it was a very tough decision. But at least he’s going out on top and despite not having the longevity he’s still one of the best TD’s to have ever played.

I suspect we’ll still be seeing his face every week during the season, just with a different outfit. Imagine him in the booth with Tony Romo... that’d be interesting!.;)
