I would like to announce that Holbrook Sportsmen's Club is now an affiliated club with SCSA...!!!!

I have been working over the past few months to get this program started, get approvals, set a budget, order material, etc.

I will have a link shortly to both our club website for steel challenge information, I am in the process of getting that info together.

we plan to run on the 4th Sunday, 9am with a limit to 60 shooters per match. we are in the beginning stages now of logistics and match dates but we hope to run ( may to September/October )

fees: $20 for non-members, $15 for club members, $5 juniors we will run 5 Stages

Dates:

4th Sunday of the month

May 28th ( CANCELLED )
June 25th match results : https://practiscore.com/results/html/3fbc0bd4-2bda-4d95-9a66-43fe52fb0e47
July 23rd
August 26th ** Saturday ** day changed due to conflict at club on sunday
September 24th

limited to 60 shooters, and only one gun per match. Pre registration required, registration link is below.

We ask that all folks have enough mags or speed loaders to shoot 5 strings, if you show up with only one
mag we might have a problem, if you show up with 2 or 3 mags then we can deal with that, just know that
we will expect you to get some more mags if you get hooked by the steel shooting bug.

All guns must be bagged or holstered and there is no handling of guns unless under the direct supervision of
a Range Officer or at one of the many "Safe Table"s located around the shooting bays.
Absolutely NO AMMO at the safe tables

I'm thinking of signing up, never competed prior. Anything you'd recommend

Bring plenty of mags (5), ammo, and a holster assuming you're shooting a pistol not a PCC or rimfire rifle.

Match this Saturday? Pre-registration open? I need the "pew-pew-pew-pew-pew" fix after standing on pool decks in Buffalo and Richmond for the first two (2) weeks in August! [laugh]
