That might be late in the first volley... i didnt want to murder all the glass single handly.. also in the second volley sparky held my belt for me. And i broke the charging handle. Also if the whole first volley was recorded, the begining probibly got edited out because someone got over excited and fired before the fire command.

I got 2 session only with the shrike, felt bad my GF didnt get to try it and i was more comfortable letting strangers try it from the pod.. i think i only got off like 5-600 of the 5k i brought..


Lucky i had other stuff and manage to get the setup working. I had the wrong buffer weight in it initially.ill post some videos later.


Fails of the day were:
Didnt bring enough tent posts
Brought the wrong fuel for the stove
Lost my keys and woke everyone up at 5:30am freaking out.
Broke the charging handle off the shrike.
Ripped my brass catcher
My new .357 revolver cylinder release button fell off.. fortunately RSO found the button.. just need a new nut. May send it back to S&W.


Edit.. after actually watching the video...im a dick and may have shot out all the glass.. i swiped the windows then moved onto the tires

After watching that video, you held that perfectly. You probably only missed do to my aiming advice.
My first one that day i used the leaf sight and the rear sight. Instead of the front sight and went right into the ground.

I dont let pople fire it with a loaded mag and the 40mm loaded because if you shoot the 40 before dumping the mag, people ( including myself) have tendancy to mistakenly pull the m16 trigger instead of the m203 trigger. Which could cause the shot to go way over the berm.

That projectile weighs 8 ounces with a zinc pusher that could easily travel who knows ...600 yards?
The van was too close for these rounds... ill get my act together and bring some more interesting rounds for it... you just cant rush 40mm reloading. Im proceeding cautiously.

Probably not the best place to start...
Here a 40mm to 12 gauge adapter, a cannon round for buck shot, or flechette, a reloadable shell and the projo ill be copying.

3 round load workup that was successful over failed cannon round ..burst disk didnt rupture.

No worries i've got others. I could shoot 12 gauge dragons breath but its kinda not really 40mm dragons breath..id be interested in learning about some of the home made dragons breathe i saw at pumpkin blast 2015.
