2006 Aware match results?

They mentioned on another site that the MD didn't have computer access
till tonight (plus I guess he's a tad tired !!)

Said we should see some results tonight.

Here are my guesses based on being a total internet IPSC nerd, I'm thinking that Dave took Revolver, Matt took Open again, Larry Houck took Production, and some guy named Travis something took Limited. Limited 10 should be between Steve R and Chris S (two last names I can't say, let alone spell).

I really hope Steve's right
But I had 2 misses at the match, and that ought to be enough to lose a major based on just how competitive open has become around here lately.
i was a huge fan of the match.
All shots were possible by all levels of shooters, nothing in there that was impossible, it was more of a, you can do it, but how fast and accurately can you do it? sort of match, which is excellent.
Only thing I wish they did differently on the stages was eliminate the 3 or 4 angles that were 180 traps. But if you were aware of the problem, you just had to take extra care not to break it.

Well, all in all, it was a great match. I really enjoyed shooting with you guys. I actually learned a lot from most everyone on the squad just by watching.

If I can get my knees back in some sort of shape I will make this match next year for sure. It is worth the ride.

I can't wait for the "Harvard Broke Back Mountain" shirt to hit the streets [grin]

The match was definitely a lot of fun.
The great weather we had on Saturday made it even better.

Next year we can work on not getting the wrong directions to the range.

Scores are up!

Damn, that was close:
1 Allan Zitta TY19494 M Open Major No No Senior 1030.2496 100.00%
2 Matt Joe TY35185 M Open Major No No 1029.3186 99.91%

My -180 on stage 8 hurt my finish quite a bit.

Scott Botehlo 4th in Limited. Behind only the two AMU shooters and Sevigny, not too shabby.

Results are posted at www.uspsa.org under "Major Match Results." If you're not a USPSA member, you'll only be able to view results which use the first initial of the surname in place of the complete name.

That sure was close! When I saw less than one point difference, I'm thinking, Man, that's one shot going into the C-zone rather than the A. Or one extra footstep between the dragon and the last popper. Or one extra shot on the martians' steel plates. Or one extra brew at the Shed ... uh, nevermind that last one.

Scott and a bunch of our local boys shot awfully well against the GMs this weekend. Very impressive. And how about Denton taking 7th Open even after going minor?

Steve, I'm guessing the 180 must have been your link breaking when there were still 6 targets remaining? I'm sorry that happened to you. Why couldn't it have happened during a weekday practice?

Why couldn't it have happened during a weekday practice?

I asked myself that question many times on the ride down. It was also a stage where Denton and I saw a great tall guy advantage that would have eliminated a shooting position. Not being able to test the plan was as frustrating as taking the penalities.

The gun is fixed, a back-up is in the works, and on to Harvard.
