200 dollar M1 Garands?!

Cheap Garands usually have bad wood, bad barrels and bad finish and are no bargain. The only collector interest would be if they hadn't been at all rebuilt or had parts swapped. Otherwise the import stamp usually diminishes the value compared to the same gun without it.

CMP has already said they will not be coming back through them, so they will have a stamp.

not to worry, im sure the import mark will be barely noticeable![rolleyes]

From what I've read they're going to allow the importation of M1 garands but they won't let in 600,000 M1 carbines that the Koreans wanted to sell because you can get high capacity magazines for them, it kinda sucks but that's how it goes, 1 or 2 people use these things the wrong way and everyone has to suffer.
