2 Stage triggers for rifle shooting

I have a Remington 700 in .308 with a decent Leopold that I shoot somewhat regularly @ 100 - 300 yards at HSC. The rifle was built by a third party, but there were no trigger options if I remember correctly so I assume that I have a factory trigger assembly. The more I shoot, the more I notice that the trigger doesn't break as well as I would like.

Can anyone recommend a smooth 2 stage trigger that they have on their 700?

I'm pretty sure Geissele doesn't make anything for a Remington 700.

this is what i have and love it, dropped it in out of the box and it is great. far better than the x-mark pro i had.

Timney and Jewell are the two most popular triggers for the 700...

I have a few Jewell triggers and I recommend them. I haven't tried the Geissele, but I have tried Timney and for me the Jewell felt better. If it is convenient, I can meet you at HSC and you can try one.

Here's a two stage that fits Rem 700's. Geissele only makes triggers for AR's and one for the SCAR.

the best trigger ive ever felt was a worked over factory trigger by a smith who knows his stuff.
