And I love the 10/22. I'm guessing that you assembled that yourself?

No, I've bought the 10/22 as a used gun, but it was more or less new.
It has been built by a gunsmith in Germany a few years ago; unfortunately he is out of business by now.
My daughter loves shooting it, too.

Yup, they are.
I'm aware that they are non-PC, but that wouldn't have helped the elephant.
I put those on only for presentation purposes, too dire to crack them on the range.
