Picked this up for my M1 Garand, collector was firm on $75.
Seems to be original parkerized finish.
Not perfect, chip on the grip and incorrect scabbard??

S**t my pants when I googled the manufacturer and how much others pay for this.

Adding local manufacturing history...

Scabbard body was made in Hudson,MA by Victory Plastics and the pressed steel throat parts by New England Pressed Steel Company in Natick,MA

The USN scabbard has a production code stamp of B3/0N, which was made between 12/1942 - Summer 1943. These were suppose to be made for Navy training(plastic) bayonets.

Wilde Fork and Tool ceased production of the bayonets in February 1943.

Added more pictures, tang has WT mark also on the blade side, but could not get a good picture.

I'd pay $75 all day long for that. I've seen a couple of them go for over $700. Sometimes you get two bidders who really want something. The CMP sold a bunch of them for $65 about two years ago. People bought them in lots. I had no idea which ones were collectible at the time.

Wow. Its next to impossible to buy a 16" original uncut Wilde Tool bayonet for less than $400-500 (and like dhuze said, I've seen them go for much more). Its amazing that if you wanted to sell that on the CMP Forum, you might be able to turn it into another Service Grade Garand.
