I was meeting someone for Sunday breakfast when he PM'd me and asked if i would be interested in buying a couple of his BSW K98s. My heart skipped a beat. I have been a collector since 2009 and held/seen only one BSW and someone was meeting me with two. These are quite hard to come by. I was looking forward to seeing them. The price was fair so I picked them both up. they are different in many ways. enjoy

1937 BSW K98. - all parts are BSW but don't all match but do pretty well. BSW receiver barrel, floor plates , barrel bands screws and a few things i missed match. basically all matching but the stock (norweigan capture) and BSW bolt. The stock is beautiful with a couple knots in the wood. probably pictures don't do it justice. enjoy.

the other will be in a seperate thread so the pics are less confusing

I know a guy (where these two came from) who ONLY collects bSw....had 9 I think....sold me one mixmaster 12 years ago....regret selling it, but I was entering my 'perfection' phase.

he was out of room in the safe and either needed to get rid of these 2 or buy another safe. these were sitting out of the safe.
he figured i would take him 20 years o fill another one with BSWs ...he decided to lef these go. if this was his "scraps" ,i am good with it. i have some very high end pieces but these to rate high on my collection meter, very happy to have them
