Looking for a used sear spring for a project.
Non functioning pistol project.
Anyone have spare parts with no future let me know.

This was the project, found buried in a cigar box in a family barn. Story is grand dad put there back in the 50s.
Barn came down and this was found. Serial puts it as a colt made in 1913
I was able to get the slide free, main spring housing off , safety free and grip safety moving , sear spring was broken.
Mag and trigger are really frozen .
Going back together for a display piece.

Only want the sear spring so grip safety returns

Hopefully it's not loaded in that position.

Cocked and loaded only way right.
Its empty, trigger, mag, hammer are all frozen still. Had it in the electrolysis. Tank for days. Plus a soak in evaporust and kroil. Its at a point of good enough to display in a case

Really cool!

Bead blasted and parkerized it might look pretty good.

Sarco used to sell (and may still) a complete set of internals for about $100.

Good luck

Greg could do it but how much of the original pistol would be left ? It could also cost close to raising the Arizona and making it sea worthy. Leave it as is and marvel at the history.

Are you still looking for a sear spring? I’m 99% sure I have one in my parts drawer that I don’t need.
