That gold thing reminded me of Patton's line for ignorant reporters: "Only a pimp in a New Orleans whorehouse or a tin-horn gambler would carry a pearl-handled pistol. They're ivory, g-d f*%#ing damn!" (That's the real one; the movie had it somewhat different.)

Satin Stainless or matte chrome is about as "bling" as I'd ever want a gun.

I think they're pritty enugh as is. It's like a woman who wairs makeup. She's only covering up somthing beautiful.....

Well... ya gotta admit, as a work of art, it's impressive. That's a lot of hand engraving there! I just wouldn't want to own it... I'd sell it and buy lots of plainer stuff. That I can shoot.
 
Gawd, that's obscene! I would have to own a shiny pink suit, a wide
brimmed white hat, and white alligator shoes to own that! But then
if I did have those articles of clothing, I probably wouldn't have a LTC.
