1911 front sight staking

Does anyone know of a gun smith near Woburn that can stake the front sight post on a Colt 1911a1? I bought the sight and watch the video about staking it. The tool is about $70 and I have never done it before so I thought I'd see what it would cost for a gunsmith to do it. I checked with a couple of places and they don't do it so I thought I'd check here.

Any suggestions on places I can check with would be appreciated.

When I did a bunch of accuracy work on my old 1918 Colt 1911 I just welded the front sight on. It's there to stay. Jack.

I live in woburn. I use lou at business end customs. haven't needed him recently but he builds 1911s and should have no problem. call him.

I've just used a spring center punch to displace some material on the sight itself and the tension was enough to retain it.

I bought the tool. I don't remember how much it was, but I can't have seen myself spending $70.
