1911 Commander in 10mm

Aside from a custom build are there any 1911 Commanders in 10mm in current production?

Colt, Ruger, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Rock Island Armory, and Dan Wesson all have 10mm 1911 offerings. Not sure about Commander offerings, though. I think SA and RIA might have commanders.

Dan Wesson for sure has a commander-sized offering.

I picked up a Colt 1911 in .38 super. Really like it!! I have yet to try one in 10mm. Would a 10mm work out to around 40 cal?

Not sure if you're being serious, but yes, 10mm is roughly .40 cal.

The bore sizes are the same, they are completely different cartridges.

I believe bore size is typically measured as the diameter and both .40 S&W and 10mm both use .400 inch diameter bullets. The case length for .40 S&W is .850 inch and 10mm is .992 inch.

The 10mm is an awesome round. Here’s my Springfield Armory Custom Shop Custom Carry 10mm Governmenet size. 18 month wait. Pricey. But oh well.
