Having done this myself, I can appreciate what is involved. Although mine started with a scrap of sheet metal salvaged from a discarded washing machine, not a shovel. This was done back before flats were available. I had to reverse engineer a SAR-1 receiver.

I'd be halfway inclined to send it to Gawker network blogs so that they could post it up and all of their libtard editors/readers could freak the **** out about how you can assemble dangerous school perferating children murdering machineguns from simple things found in their own garages.
