There is only one Indian dude I'd take opinions from. And he's here.So now we are listening to some Indian dude, from some university ranked less than 400, not a professor but studying computer science. Lol.
With all the incorrect and slanderous things that were done that poisoned the Jury pool I think that would be provable Harm !Not sure about that, but even so, you'd have to prove a specific harm I think.
People on the left were always going to have a negative opinion of Kyle's actions based solely on news coverage from established sources; those negative opinions aren't the news outlet's fault. And, arguably, they don't constitute definite harms to Kyle. I don't think his "reputation" is "destroyed;" on the contrary, in fact.
I just think this case might be more of an uphill struggle than I'd like it to be. Lying about someone in public is only punishable if that lie actually causes them direct harm, I think. Again, IANAL. But then, I always like to keep my expectations low.
The interesting question will be how hard are the prosecutors going to come down on this young lady also in Kenosha who shot the man who trapped her for sexual slavery?
What the hell is wrong out there in Wisconsin. Two people who should never have been put on trial are being put on trial and forced to keep going over everything in their lives. She better get a not guilty verdict otherwise the system is busted. This is the kind of unfortunate sh*t that happens when liberal prosecutors protect criminals and re-victimize the victims.

I hope you’re right. But I’m always prepared for disappointment.Specific harm? For at least the next 10 years if an employer, girl he’s interested in dating, college, etc can google his name and one of the search results will be some asshat like pressley saying he’s a murdering racist. He also almost went to prison for the rest of his life and all of that was created by the narrative created by media and politicians like pressley and biden in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.
Think he’d have a hard time claiming emotional distress? He spent a year with the media and the highest level politicians of one party defaming him and he had that murder charge hanging over him. His lawyers said he’s in counseling, can’t sleep, has PTSD, etc.
I don’t think defamation cases and the injury suffered are clearer than this one.
This whipped by me on the Microsoft Edge home page this morning:
Conclusion: The outcome of the Rittenhouse trial means that
the Ruling Class now has a hardon for slapping down self-defense,
and the MSM will be obsessing over it until they can manage to
build a narrative that all self-defense is unjustified.
ETA: ...and that's why it needs to be outlawed -
which is a drum that they are already beating.
Strickly from the point of law, Wisconsin has additional jurisprudence
surrounding battered spouses; see the second paragraph
of this third footnote.
I haven't gone on to read those cites.
But they exist separate and distinctly
from anything covered in the Rittenhouse trial.
That's just because you're surrounded by kids all dayI hope you’re right. But I’m always prepared for disappointment.
The injury is clear enough, but the prosecution itself is an intervening cause, and that's a problem when attributing damages. The state itself has done the most harm with its malicious and politically motivated prosecution.I don’t think defamation cases and the injury suffered are clearer than this one.
I say go low on the first few.Once they see the back of the head of a few of their fellow agitators become a red mist from a 30 cal. hit. They will be running back to their mommy's basement.
I say go low on the first few.
Nothing as demoralizing as gut shot people writhing on the ground screaming.
.40What caliber works best for commie forearms?
Don't forget the countless death threats .Specific harm? 17hmrObsolete ideologies deserve to be removed with obsolete calibers.
He needs to get a blue collar union job. Those guys know how to deal with people causing a ruckus on the job site and he can’t be fired because people complainHis left-leaning views will change fast enough when he starts getting doxed repeatedly for the rest of his life and at protested at any job he will try to hold.
Well, it sounds to me like Mr. Principal needs to find himself in a situation where self-defense would be called for!Turtle Boy hit the nail on the head with his commentary. Pure gold.![]()
Newton North High School Principal Sends Email Saying Self Defense Is Racist, Undermines Jury System, Segregates Students By Race - TB Daily News
This is Newton North High School Principal Henry Turner. On Friday he sent an email out to all his staff, and then posted it on Facebook, Twitter, and his personal blog, stating that the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse is racism, and that if Rittenhouse were black he would’ve been found guilty...tbdailynews.com
The settlement amounts were never published, and you can't infer a large settlement from the amount they were suing for. From what I understand, defamation settlements are normally 5 or 6 figures, not 9.He was just defamed with malice and he is now a very rich man.
And you can't infer they were not.The settlement amounts were never published, and you can't infer a large settlement from the amount they were suing for. From what I understand, defamation settlements are normally 5 or 6 figures, not 9.
Same idiot principal that had no problem with openly anti-Semitic teachers (in one of the most Jewish communities in the country for Christ sake) and terrorism apologists (the loons claiming Tsarnaev was innocent of involvement in the marathon atrocities) in his school.Well, it sounds to me like Mr. Principal needs to find himself in a situation where self-defense would be called for!
Huh? I'm not claiming he's not rich. He might be. The settlements are confidential. Lin Wood decided to sue each of the media outlets for hundreds of millions of dollars. So we know what Lin Wood was asking for, but the consensus from all the lawyers I've seen weigh in was that, without actual damages to support those figures, he was asking for the sun, and it isn't likely that the defendants offered the moon instead. And you can't infer they were not.
From what "I understand" tells me everything I need!
I believe the case was an easy one to win. I doubt all the MSM wanted discovery if this went to trial. We are both entitled to our opinions!Huh? I'm not claiming he's not rich. He might be. It was either unbelievable luck or ice water in his veins. 17 years old and only had one shot go wild? The kid was dead on with his shots![]()
Ret. SEAL Jonathan Gilliam on Rittenhouse: 'Textbook Perfect' with AR-15
Kyle Rittenhouse's use of a firearm was "textbook perfect," Jonathan Gilliam, retired Navy SEAL, told Breitbart News on Wednesday.www.breitbart.com
He missed drop kick man then missed shooting the gun out of the lucky guy's hand.It was either unbelievable luck or ice water in his veins. 17 years old and only had one shot go wild? The kid was dead on with his shots

I don't feel like I have an opinion on the matter as such.We are both entitled to our opinions!
It's what you get when the criminal justice system is inoperative.I agree with putting that animal down. I agree that would be self defense. The issues of setting the fire and stealing the car after, that is what can be called into question.
