This just came today after months of waiting. A custom made Lone Star Rolling Block made by Dave Higginbotham of Lone Star Rifle Company of Conroe, Texas. It is chambered for the 50/90 Sharps round. It has a 30" Green Mountain 1 1/4" heavy octagon barrel. Standard trigger with a crisp 3 lb pull. Weighs about 13 lbs. I know that this should be posted under new acquisitions, but it is just too special too me. Can't wait to hit the range.

Goose, that rifle is effin' gorgeous. I don't tend to like colored case hardening, but damn it sure looks pretty on that monster. The rifle as a whole is amazing, and I'm sure the pics don't even begin to do it justice.
