All those people will end up somewhere (other than burned down Portland and suburbs). Better to contain them. I'd rather see blocks of high-rise, subsidized housing built in Portland than to see it burn down.

If you keep the handouts flowing they wont work. If they dont work, theyll always be dependent. If theyre dependent, you control where they live. The only other option is genocide, which no one has the stomach for.
