Just got back from taking the test with BARS (Billerica). Didn't opt to take the General, have a 3 month old to contend with.

Now off to Amazon buy a 12 pack of Baofengs to mess with.

I bought a Baofeng on Amazon a few weeks ago and ended up spending more for the antenna I put on it than I did for the entire radio, the extra mic, etc. They're a cheap way to get on a 2m/70cm repeater. I'm taking the class for my general in a few weeks. It's a 10 week class with homework and everything Some hobby
