Wanted to pass along that Mr. Hutton at Britannia Sporting Arms was able to quickly diagnose & repair a longstanding problem I've had with a Star M-43. The pistol made two trips earlier to the Kittery Trading Post's contract gunsmith in the 2004-05 timeframe, with no real improvement.
The pistol would fail to eject about 1 in 4 rounds; making it too unreliable for a carry gun and too frustrating for a plinker.
After a week at Britannia's Sporting Arms, the pistol is back & functioning perfectly after 100 rds. It even out-shot my S&W 639 at yesterday's action plate shoot in North Berwick.
