I just received the following:
Model 65-H H&R Reising 22 cal., with 4x 10 capacity magazines, made in Worcester, MA. Marine rifle from WWII.
1829 Springfield, converted to percussion in 1861. The dates are according to the previous owner.
My father has two rifles he wants to give me. They have never been registered. Both are about 40 years old. What paper work will have to be done? I'd also have them checked by a gunsmith for safe use.
