  1. Is anyone starting to think all these closings are going a bit too far?

Does it seem odd that every news article about the virus has the exact same “disclaimer” at the end of the article verbatim? “For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health...
  2. Gun shops non essential?

LOL!! Gun shops voluntarily close on Sundays and Mondays most of them already. Gun shops keep lazier hours than banks do now a days. Of course they're going to close at the first chance they get. You won't have to ask them twice to take a little vacation!
  3. Is anyone starting to think all these closings are going a bit too far?

My conspiracy theory is they say it's elderly and immune compromised, but they're just saying that to prevent more panic. What the people in the government know is it's really more like the Spanish flu. 1 in 3 people die and it doesn't matter if you're healthy as a horse you can still die.
  4. Firearm Manufacturer Gifts "AR-14" To Worker Threatened By Biden

Depends on what gun store you buy from. AR10 isnt on the list either but i can't find a gun store in MA that will sell me one. Anything AR is banned in MA now even a bolt action(AR31). For no reason and no express law other than the gun stores are afraid.
  5. Firearm Manufacturer Gifts "AR-14" To Worker Threatened By Biden

No comment on Colt quality, just that historically they havent really cared about the 2A or consumer markets as their main market was military. Colt would never do something like the above post.
  6. Firearm Manufacturer Gifts "AR-14" To Worker Threatened By Biden

Agreed! Unfortunately some gun manufacturers like Colt haven’t realized this. Since they have government contracts they have basically snubbed their nose at their civilian markets. Colt makes some great guns including the m16 but not a 2A friendly company.
  7. Taser/Stun Guns MA Legal Now?

Full auto sear modded with a NH 50rd mag then?
  8. Need help! Glock 19

For handguns there’s no criminal laws. It’s a consumer retail regulation. So sale is prohibited by FFL, but trade exchange gift or private sale is not. I figure a replacement wouldn’t constitute a retail sale so it has no bearing on the MA approved handgun rules.
  9. Looking for good high power to low noise rifle

Isn’t that 38 special? In MA even arrows are regulated, but air rifles are completely unregulated except for age restriction. So I’d vote for an air rifle.
  10. Man accidentally shoots gun in showroom of northern KY gun range; no charges filed

It’s the being an idiot part that matters. It’s just luck that no one was hurt. What’s the difference between the vandalism on the table and floor or murder? Blind luck. No forgiveness for being an idiot. But I am probably in the minority in believing that being an idiot is one of the worst...
  11. Cops Open Fire on Pickup Truck Full of Children, Shooting 3 of Them, One in the Head

Pretty sure that most cops don’t remember anything about gun safety. For cops the gun is a seldom used tool sitting on their tool belt. When they do pull it out they barely know how to use it.
  12. Cleveland man faces federal weapons charges for Glock modified into machine gun

Guns are pretty simple machines. Doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to fully understand them or swap out parts. I know some 6 year olds who can put together LEGO sets that are 1,000 times more complex than any gun(particularly modern guns which have tight tolerances and interchangeable parts like a...
  13. Man accidentally shoots gun in showroom of northern KY gun range; no charges filed

As they should be. It’s like not giving someone a ticket when they get into an accident that is clearly their fault. There should be severe consequences for being an idiot. Why was he playing with a loaded weapon in public anyways? Also believe if you are in an at fault fatal accident you...
