Caved and put mine on last night. My daughter woke up in the middle of the night complaining how cold she was. In hindsight, a blanket might have resolved it, but clicking the "On" switch was much easier.
Not sure where you are located, but X-Spot in Attleboro is a great shop. You may also want to consider a used bow. I went used on my first bow and happy I did. Check out archerytalk. I ended up with a better bow with better accessories than if I went new.
Reloaded my first ever rifle rounds this week. Been doing shotshell and pistol for a while but finally decided to add rifle to the list.
Only made and tested 5 rounds so far. But have a bunch of brass sized, primed and trimmed ready to finish up.
ETA: Forgot to say "THANKS!!!" to everyone on...
I recently listened (book on CD) to In the Hurricane's Eye: The Genius of George Washington and the Victory at Yorktown. It focused on the naval help from the French. No idea how historically accurate it is, but I found it interesting.
Not mine but seems like a good deal.
