  1. Dirt bag with Polymer80 charged possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number!!

I think this 80% thing is not going to last much longer, especially here in MA. I notice the 80% vendors already list a couple of states that they will not ship to. MA will be on that list soon. Too bad, building your own firearm is a lot of fun. But as usual it just takes a few dirt bags to...
  2. Is everyone who listens to WAAF bald and limp?

I am fully aware of an mp3 players shuffle feature. If you want to make fun of me for not embracing every form of modern technology have at it, I guess this is the place for that and I am the guy. Mp3 audio may sound great on your $15 ear buds but on a good stereo system compressed mp3 audio...
  3. Is everyone who listens to WAAF bald and limp?

There are several reasons I still listen to FM radio, there are a couple that you mention. One is that I like not knowing what song is coming up next. I have a huge music collection on CD and vinyl. So every night I do create my own playlist. but during the day I like FM. And you mention...
  4. Is everyone who listens to WAAF bald and limp?

I do. I listen to rock 102 most every day, after the morning show is over anyway. Can't stand those guys. In fact I just bought a nice HD FM tuner for my stereo, thing sounds great. I have a roof top antenna and I am pulling in all kinds of stuff with it.
  5. Michael Bloomberg dinged for remarks on Texas church shooting

That guy is total ass hat and an idiot for suggesting that law enforcement would have gotten there in time to save all those lives. Those church goers are thanking god that there was someone (or persons in this case) armed that day to protect them. Poor guy loses his life in an instant trying...
  6. AR-15 Design May open legal loophole

Yup, get them while you can because that party is coming to an end.
  7. EPA Wants to Crackdown on Off-Road Performance Parts

Yes I did........ Your problem seems to be more with the EPA than the results of poor air quality. And I agree with you, the EPA sucks and are going after the wrong group as they often do. But with all due respect EMTDAD seems to be quite a bit more informed than you or any of the rest of us...
  8. EPA Wants to Crackdown on Off-Road Performance Parts

I think it is obvious at this point that EMTDAD knows his s#*t regarding this subject. Maybe we should consider ourselves lucky to have someone with his knowledge chime in rather than question the guy. Don't get me wrong, I do not like this EPA crap and it is crazy to go after a small group...
  9. EPA Wants to Crackdown on Off-Road Performance Parts

No they don't. It was the "they must keep that emissions equipment forever." part that had me worried. As long is that is not retroactive I would assume the older classic cars will still be exempt. Sounds like you are well informed on this topic. And you are right, we are far less polluted...
  10. EPA Wants to Crackdown on Off-Road Performance Parts

I am not going to flame away. I understand your take on converting a modern Honda Civic into a race car. But what about all of those classics out there that can never be brought back to factory emissions? And also realize that those older classics are rarely driven and consequently have little...
  11. EPA Wants to Crackdown on Off-Road Performance Parts

I bought a new Camaro in 78 and still have it. It was the early stages of emissions controls, non computerized and quite primitive. As soon as the car came off of warranty (12 months in those days) I stripped all the emissions off, except for the PVC. Installed an Edelbrock manifold and a set of...
  12. How do I get sufficient privileges?

Gambit, first welcome to NES. It will be nice to get another non New England perspective on things. You only have a few posts but the vibe I get is that you seem like a nice guy. My question is do you want to sell your Glock to a MA resident at KY prices, or do you want to sell to it a MA...
  13. Couple Arrested For Baiting Bike Thieves Then Beating The F--k Out Of Them

Well as someone who has been the victim of several house break in's, Tools stolen out of my truck, AND a very expensive road bike being stolen out of my garage, I have no problem whatsoever with these two. Wish they had been MY neighbors, maybe I would still have that bike. ;)
  14. Shirley MA prison lockdown

Yes those are animals. And when you let dangerous animals out of their cage they are likely to attack.
  15. Florida security guard charged with threatening to kill Trump

I can remember the day when even an idiot knew that any threat against the president would result in a visit from Secret Service, and that visit would not go well for you. I guess those days are gone..... :(
  16. Neil Peart has Died...

That was a legendary show. I believe I have a bootleg of that concert. Do you have it??? If not PM me and I will see if I can find it and burn a copy for you.
  17. Neil Peart has Died...

Great drummer and may he RIP. But to put him in front of John Bohnam as the greatest ever??? I don't know. Guess it depends on how much of a Rush fan you happen to be. Ever see Led Zeppelin?
  18. Concerts coming to NH in 2020

I attended a concert at that outdoor venue in Gilford near lake Winni. Gov’t Mule opened for the Allman Brothers. It was a great show. Warren Haynes played with GM and then came back on and played with ABB. Problem was it was more of a drunk fest than a concert. The beer sales and consumption...
  19. DIY Dueling Tree

My intention when I posted this thread was to share my experience in building my own DIY dueling tree. I wanted to show how someone who has access to a welder can build a nice sturdy dueling tree (not a cheap Birchwood Casey) for far less than the purchase cost. And also have the satisfaction of...
