Keep seeing that you can’t transfer/sell/acquirethe grandfathered rifles. From my reading it looks like it exempts the grandfathered rifles and that you can sell/acquire them after 8/1/2024?

That’s the point. They say this will prevent it, they pass it, another shooting occurs and that’s fuel to pass even more. The only “gun law” to prevent that is confiscate every single firearm and that’s exactly what their end goal is.

1911’s are the ultimate edc. It’ll run 10’s of thousands of rounds, and when it wears out you just have it rebuilt/refinished. 1911s survived countless wars and over a hundred years of production. There’s a reason why most gun manufacturers offer a 1911 and people still buy them.
