Get permit, buy safety gear (FF helmet and gloves), take MRF safety course, get license, buy bike, get discount on insurance.
Take the safety course, it's worth it. I had been riding some sort of motorized contraption since 6 yo (dirt bikes, quads, ATC's), and before I got my first street bike I...
Neither will happen. In fact, 2a has been getting stronger over the last 20 years. Every year more and more states go CC. Some states are reducing the age for carrying. The 2a has been getting strengthened as well by SCOTUS for the past 20 years or so.
They may TRY, but they will fail. Whether...
I actually threw a dot on it and am now carrying it again. Already had added extended mags and apex trigger before I "retired" it a couple years ago. Saw some with dots and figured WTH, now during summer it is a great little AIWC.
Nope, not for primary, but I have no idea what they have for backup power. I've just been to the upstream sub. And had to pass a physical checkpoint, guarded by a real cop. And the station had one in a car on all 4 sides. Even though there is only 1 gate.
I had no clue it was the sub feeding...
I've already said too much. But again, there are far easier and more secure methods where people won't shoot back. Except for the sub that feeds the NSA. That is actively guarded.
Still, one week. Tops. There are literally towers on pieces sitting in yards......And most are assembled with a helicopter now. Not a crane.
The foundation takes longer to cure than the actual erection of the tower.
I've only overseen the construction of transmission and distribution systems for 15 years, subs and high wire. So I guess I know less than a frigging aspie. [rofl2] Hell, my guys tested and commissioned that substation you mentioned.
Ice storm damage is to the distribution lines. In many...
Erecting a tower can be done very quickly. And the material to erect it is readily available and easy to reproduce. There are MUCH longer term and less invasive and less costly ways.
