I’m in the same boat. Looking for an inexpensive .22 da revolver. Most of its use will be shooting blanks while dog training. Decent blank pistols are $300. Plus, a reason to buy another gun.
BUY an AK? WTF is that shi*?
I feel old now. When I joined here, I don’t think you could buy a complete AK. If you could, it was out of my budget.
Parts kits were common enough. I think I paid around $200 for a Maadi kit and same for a Bulgy ‘74 kit.
Back in 2014, we had an epic AK build...
Is it synthetic or wood?
I’ve cut down four stocks on a mitre saw. Synthetic stocks are simple. Wood stocks require a good, sharp blade and take your time so the blade cuts and doesn’t burn. Most recoil pads can be trimmed down with either a sander or dremel tool, or both if needed.
I have a 15-22. I got the Performance Center with 18" barrel for more weight. I've since added an adapter nut so I could install a Diamonhead handguard and put weight in the empty stock tube.
It is very close in weight to my 14.5" barreled AR. All controls are identical between the two guns...
M&p 15-22 trigger upgrade
^What he said.
Are you looking for single stage or two stage?
The 15-22 takes any AR15 compatible trigger group.
I got the Performance Center with S&W two stage, but had some problems with it and did not want to send the gun back to S&W so swapped it out...
Yeah, I thought the beauty of Glocks was that they are good-to-go straight from the box? Why is everyone changing out all the shit that works?

We got a batch of bcg in the shop last fall with loose gas keys. 6 out of ten were loose. The staking was a joke, and the manufacturer sucked balls when we called them on it.

The Walther CCP is a great little gun. Comfortable grips and accurate. Trigger could be better, but it didn't affect my shooting as much as I thought it would. I just wish it had the paddle mag release like all my other Walthers.

A Shield with a trigger job may be a good choice. She can use it for carry and competition. It qualifies under a BUG match and also under the new CCP division.

Put it on my AR and didn't like it. I just didn't like the location. Try it, it may work for you.
I DO like it on my 9mm sbr. I use that gun for steel shoots and it is easier to lock the bolt open after shooting.

Funny that you are denigrating a new member with a serious question:/ I had a lgs tell me that a grip-pod was illegal in MA as it was a pistol grip. There are no dumb questions for newbies regarding MA laws when you consider that lgs and police don't even know the laws.
Nice! I'm going to see if Walther has those available. Tried during the split-up and it was 'call back in a month' for almost a year. I made a couple from Glock sleeves, but they are for the range only.
