Well that's not right, at LEAST shoot it once, then put it away :) IMHO, there isn't anything like a HP. 1911s don't do much for me, HPs are a whole different story.

Has anyone ordered anything from CMP this year? M1 Garand, Carbine etc? I mailed out the form on Feb. 6th and got the order verification on Feb 26th, then nothing.

6 month wait for a trigger job. $65. Or I can send the trigger group to Garand Trigger Job – Shuff's Parkerizing He gets good reviews on the M1 forums. Maybe it’ll be light enough from CMP. I definitely want the bayonet too.
