I finally got around to putting all my black Friday hauls together. Vudoo 360 in a XRS chassis. Getting ready to try my hand at some rimfire PRS in the spring.
Seriously, how could you not shoot that thing. It's like paying somebody to build you a bad ass resto mod muscle car and not driving it, your doing it wrong.
Glad you like it. Now that you've had some time to use it if you could go back and do it again would you buy the 3x version instead? I'm tempted to grab one and try it but I'm afraid the 3x magnification will bug me while shooting 50yds or under.
My kid got a set of these cheap nerf guns for Christmas, cracks me up every time we shoot them. I wonder if this was the inspiration for the "grip zone" or if somebody from Springfield got new job.
The amount of grip length on the p2000 and p30 sk's that You sacrifice by going with the compact versions is not worth it IMHO. I take the full size of either any day of the week.
Yeah, the "everything"shortage is still going strong. I had the same problem trying to get the aridus industries parts for my 1301 last year. Just have to be patient and keep checking stock everyday.
I like the xds, my favorite feature is the grip zone. You never have to guess where to grip it in those high stress situations. Whoever came up with that idea deserves a promotion!
I just like giving positive reviews on things that I have good experiences with. Most of the time people are more apt to complain about something then speak kindly of it. I wouldn't be opposed to getting some free stuff to review in case anyone's paying attention lol. I could use an excuse to...
I do, I just remembered that it also has an illuminated reticle, 2 or 3 night vision settings and shake awake. Comes with a few different risers, I think you can get up to 8 different heights. For under $300 it's a pretty sweet package.
If I shoulder the rifle in my house and look at a wall that's 10ft in front of me or look at a target 200yrds out the reticle and target is still in focus. Generally the same way a red dot works
Ya, parallax is usually just referred to as "infinite" and has no adjustability on these types of sights. The only adjustability is the diopter which is for focusing the reticle to your eye.
Yes, there is a diopter that you adjust so your dominant eye can focus to the reticle. It works the exact same way that a traditional scope diopter works, The only difference is instead of a crosshair the SLX1 uses the Chevron style ranging reticle like an acog. There is no parallax adjustment...
I suffer from a slight astigmatism and wear contacts. Any red dot I've looked at usually looks more like a starfish than a dot, aimpoint however is the best I've seen to my eyes. The reticle on my slx-1 prism is as clear as day, I love it. It's probably the first sight I've used that could get...
I have one on my sig 556 and I love it. The only problem I had is that I had to mount it so low to be able to co-witness with the front iron and work with my cheek weld on the stock, The sight blade obscures the reticle. I had to punch out the front sight, I need to pick up a set of flip up...
