not at all. it has a lot of tech to make it better for full auto. as a semi its kinda a waste of space and weight and the shape is kinda cumbersome. my ar with glock mags is lighter then most of my ar's in 556. the ergos are meh. as a "pistol" in semi its a joke.
some of them if you over tighten, it effects the hammer and trigger adding more friction etc. really depends on the design.
most of them are designed to take up some of the slop and you still use anti walk pins.

you can get a complete p80 kit from p80 builder fairly cheap.
got my brother a 26 kit for less then 450, my 19 build not including the optic was only 500, and thats with a bunch of upgraded parts.
