I could sure use them. I am teaching women in Western MA to shoot, and not fear big bangs and a little recoil....
Unfortunately I didn't have stamps, so not green again just yet
Nice revolver. If you can afford it though, I'd still buy the Single Six. Wiegand makes a sweet scope/red dot base that mounts to the rear sight screw holes (no tapping). The adjustable sights and option for the base make the price difference money well spent
AHA !!! I knew there had to be one!!! I never thought to search Facebook. Now I'll probably find them
PITA Load development???
That's the really FUN PART !!! I load 7.5 X 55 Swiss. Send me the rifle and components. I'd enjoy doing the load development for you
I buy new rifles in part...
Even the AR fans in this group have added them to their collection, not replaced firearms
Lots of lever shooters here. There was recently a group buy on Henrys
If you have a container of mixed powder from pulled/recycled rounds, or even small leftover amounts, making exploding targets is always something to use it up, a friend tells me
Considering either a 45/70 or a .375 H&H for fun experiments like this.
From the Sierra manual
The H&H can go as...
This is true. I have bought as a present a handgun online that was not on the MA roster. Had some work done on it. Then had the FFL ship it to an FFL in Alabama for my friend to take possession of it. I had to sell it to him for a nominal fee, as I was still the legal owner.
Exactly
I have never even been asked for payment or a deposit before the BG check went through, except when having the FFL place a special order
The $50 charge is pure bull, and I would not set foot in there again
Possibly stop by in a couple months to ask about their sales policy, and whether...
You think you would be reloading only to save money. Once you start, you will find that tuning a load to your rifle is really a lot of fun. Reloading makes a huge variety of bullets available that you can't find in factory ammo. You will be able to make your currently owned rifles much more...
I've carried my 442 every day since I bought it in 2008. On my 3rd cheap Blackhawk pocket holster - they work great for a few years, then get kind of floppy.
The revolver shoots great, very accurate and durable and handles great
The only thing I don't like -- the cylinder should swing out just...
Sorry, but I can't imagine this. I think what you need is a knife with a comfy padded handle
Forget the LCR, the LCP, or any other subcompact or compact and shoot an appropriate defense round out of whatever pistol is heavy enough for you to handle the recoil -or- stay home -or- hire a...
That is, if your older daughter will give up the Savage. CCI Standard Velocity and CCI Stinger ammo hit the accuracy nodes with mine - Now that I'm getting tiny cloverleaf groups or smaller up to 125 yards, I'm looking for a place to shoot farther.
Thanks. I will check out that Marlin
OP - No matter what I am planning to shoot, .22's are coming along. I try to buy a .22 model matching each of my centerfire, mounted with the same optics. The Ruger Single Six and Blackhawk .44 Mag almost match, but the .22 grip and frame are a lot smaller
You make no sense. The .32 has little recoil because it has such low energy and because of this, ammo manufacturers have not bothered to develop .32ACP cartridges with high terminal performance bullets.
The .380 has been improved to a more than marginal defense load. The .22 Mag would be a...
You're mad at Ruger for not producing a pos .32 that only you would buy, after sending them an email . . .
If you are not being sarcastic, you are dead to me! DEAD TO ME !!!!!
HAAAHHAHAHAHAHAAA
