They said it should be inspected by a gunsmith and possibly change the trunion. Very different that should be replaced.

  7. Can I change Upper on Colt AR-15 A2 Carbine ?

It's not sad that YOU asked the question, it's sad that WE have to even ask these questions. The laws and restrictions in this state are BS and WE shouldn't have to be confined by them.
  8. Can I change Upper on Colt AR-15 A2 Carbine ?

1994 is the real preban, that's when you can add any features you want. If you are talking the 2016 Healy ban than you can change uppers all you want but you need to make sure you don't turn it in to "assault weapon" that was post 1994 ban. IANAL, make sure you research what you want to do.
  9. 50 State Legal Suppressed Rifle

What am I missing here, why wouldn't it be a considered a suppressor? Because it's BP? If not that then how is it any different than the Ruger with interrogated suppressor, they consider than a NFA item.
  10. Is there such a thing as a pre-ban magazine for an M&P15-22?

Agreed completely but there is nothing S&W 15-22 proprietary about them as noted earlier in the thread, they work fine in a regular AR lower with either a 22 dedicated upper or a 22 conversion kit.
  11. Is there such a thing as a pre-ban magazine for an M&P15-22?

I don't believe there is anything special about the 15-22 mag. Fits and runs perfectly in a standard ar with both a dedicated 22 upper as well as 22 conversion. A quick Google shows a couple of old mfr's out there, didn't dig too much.
  12. Does your Glock 43 say "USA" or "Austria" on the slide?

  14. I didn't want to like the Glock 42. Now, its my favorite carry gun short of a G19

I've yet to handle a G42, looking forward to getting my hands on one soon. How long ago did you have the LCP? They re-did the trigger starting in 2013. They called it the "enhanced" LCP and took all the dash out of the serial number. I am actually very impressed with the trigger on mine. I owned...
  15. Sig 1911 Emperor Scorpion

Looks like different grips and trigger setup than the regular Scorpion 1911. Same specs, same MSRP tho.
  16. Sig Mosquito vs Ruger SR22 vs Walther P22

SR22 in my opinion. I've owned the Mosquito, very finicky. With CCI mini-mags, I didn't have any issues but my kids did. The SR22 eats anything, not a single issue thus far.

  18. Good takedown rifle for camping?

Very accurate. Takes less than a minute to assemble. I don't think you have anything to worry about as far as parts go, there really aren't many. The stock screws on to the receiver via a thumb screw that's held permanently in place. The barrel then threads on to the receiver, again, retained...
