I been a sleep, just notices these last week.
About 12 years ago I was dreaming of building a firearm from scratch base on ar180 because there is no buffer tube.
The main driver was I wanted to build a non AR lower less the areas with pistol grip attachment and buffer tube and relocate the...
I was in the right spot at the right time for this.
I hope they never get used though.
Can anybody guess where I'm standing?
and the flag is attached to the railing of the item I'm standing on, the guy is not holding it.
in the dealers classified there's one of these, It might be the thing for "off road" carrying.
I have been adventure riding my motorcycle and have found myself in the woods and in one case, I was stuck for a while with lots of moose and bear droppings around.
In the case that I was stuck, I...

I have an in consistency problem reloading 308, Cartridge overall length varies by 20-30 thousands.
No matter how consistent I move to the stop I get a variation from one to the next.
All parts of the press seam tight (linkage).
The dies are tight, locking nuts secured etc.
I think I have...
I took some friends to the range and had trouble with the AR short stroking then eventaly faliure to extract, case stuck halfway out and was jamed (had to pull the charge handling while striking the butt on on a hard surface).
Was shooting wolf steel case, newer polymer.

More questions on use of Nufinish
I started this post instead resurrecting an old thread to further discussion using nufinish in the Cleaning Tumbling Media thread.
I read a few older threads on using nufinish but I have a few questions on my own plus tumbling in general.
My bronze wool and raw linseed oil is turning green, nice shade I would say.
This never happen before.
I bought the bronze wool figuring it would last longer than steel wool when stored. ( I don’t use much.)
I refinished an m1 carbine about a year ago with no problem using same materials...
They indicated only for plated bullets. i'm sure the collet needs something firm to grab onto.
I have some messed up cast reloads in 40 with little or no crimp.
Would the collet be able to grab the lead or would it be totally useless and slip?
I have a dozen or so that need to be pulled...
I thought I’d pass this along.
I cleaned my tumbling media, it was getting dirty and the cases were not coming clean, were not bright and shiny and looked a little dull.
I just put two orders into midway and forgot tumbling media and since shipping is so much $$ I figured I would try to clean...

I just bought an SA M1 Garand today, it’s an import marked Exel Gardner mass.
It dates to jan 1944 with an SA 1963 barrel, most parts are market SA with a couple of other manufactures. Will do an inventory.
I thinks it going to be a good shooter, the muzzle doesn't seem to have much wear, did...
I was installing a dillion Square Deal-B press on my new bench and it doesn't fit.
I bent the bracket that holds the spent primer and fail safe rod.
The bench top is to thick.
It apears that the maximium bench thickness required is about 2-3/4".
I used a front rail board of 3.5".
I started Reloading again this time with 308 cases.
i have the lee case trimmer cutter with the 308 rod/pilot that goes through case and primer hole.
i am using my mill/drill using the 1/2" collet to hold the cutter.
I trim just as if your were drilling a hole with a drill press.
