  1. Gold and silver prices are down

You buy silver Eagles or maple leaves because they are super easy to verify. First off, they have intricate designs. Next, any moron can basically check the diameter, thickness, and weight. And that's all you need. To fake that combination costs more than the coin is worth. Usually wieghting...
  2. Why Are Berry's Bullets So Available?

I sort of have to call BS on this. I shoot Berry's TP 124gr out of my G17, thousands and thousands of rounds. I recently took part in a large USPSA shoot with 75+ people, most of them running high end 1911s in 9mm with optics and compensators, full on speed-rigs. I ran my G17 with an RMR...
  3. Fudd sighting: marshvegas

I would be kicked out of your club with "6 round limit" within 30 minutes. What a hilarious rule. You can't "test" a 30 round magazine by loading 6 rounds into it, you have absolutely no idea if it even work with 30 now, since the spring may get quirky and cause failure to feeds at that point...
  4. More Open Carry Fun

I wasn't trying for unemotional. I am emotional about this issue, as I don't want my rights restricted. Recently I've watched places I frequent put out announcements that guns are not welcome, due 100% to the "efforts" of open carry groups with rifles overdoing it in those places with zero...
  5. More Open Carry Fun

You have to be kidding me. You brought Rosa Parks into a discussion about Open Carry, and when that went south for you, you make the strawman argument claim... But you brought the strawman Rosa Parks to the party! Freaking hilarious! Your opposition to my views basically proves everything I...
  6. More Open Carry Fun

Actually, that isn't even close to being the same, but good try. The equivalent would be if Rosa Parks won the right to sit in the front of the bus, and the next day after that supreme court decision, instead of sitting in the front she lay down across 2 seats just to let all the white people...
  7. More Open Carry Fun

Dumb people can't tell the difference between exercising a right and abusing a right. Hint: abusing a right is when you exercise a right for no logical reason, just merely to annoy/intimidate/rub it in peoples' faces. And of course, abuse of a right leads to a restriction of that right...
  8. Colt Match Target rifle opinions

If you want a match-grade rifle, I recommend *NOT* building it yourself. While you may think that piecing it together from a stripped lower might work out, chances are it won't. Also, you might have to get quite a lot of tools. You are FAR better off buying a match rifle in one piece, which...
  9. Body armor plate carrier reccomendations

I run DKX plates in a BFG PlateMinus (not the new PlateMinus2 which is overpriced). If I were to do it again, I would buy the new Crye Airlite (wasn't out when I got the BFG). I also own the Banshee and it is nice, but the PlateMinus is way lighter. The DKX plates are amazing. I owned the...
  10. Why Are Berry's Bullets So Available?

I use the Thick Plated 9mm bullets from Berry's, have gone through about 6k of them. They don't seem to have any issues out of the Glocks, M&Ps, and XDM I've used. I don't load them super hot or anything. The accuracy seems pretty good, but I don't usually go past 50 feet and I shoot at...
  11. Decisded on a Thpmpson Center Impact.......advice on loads please!

This is a terrible terrible idea. You sighted in with A, but you go hunting with B? This is completely illogical, and you are flying by the seat of your pants. I use 2 pellets behind a 250gr TC Shockwave, and can get touching groups at 100 yards out of my Omega. I have won the black powder...
  12. I Really like Mass Firearms School

Obviously this can only mean that short guys are more successful and wealthier than tall guys, right? :-)
  13. Driving around Mass with your ALP LTC-A

This was a win-win. You learned and I vented with my flamethrower. It's a good day.
  14. Driving around Mass with your ALP LTC-A

There seems to be A LOT of bs being thrown around regarding income taxes. Seems most of these people go to H&R Block or have someone do their taxes and just look at the size of their return with no idea how or what happened. Then they make some stuff up. If you have a job in MA, you pay MA...
  15. What's your take on Veteran's plates?

And this is why non-military don't want to give ex-military guys free stuff, like car registrations. Entitlement and attitude.
  16. Massachusetts moonbattery just got pwned by a NH Walmart, and my mother witnessed it!

It's a Friday, I just really couldn't get as upset as I wanted with the nice weather and all. I kinda wish I got this guy's autograph, I never thought I'd get to meet a legit Mall Operator after that internet thread, but it has happened. I can now die happy. Of laughter.
  17. Massachusetts moonbattery just got pwned by a NH Walmart, and my mother witnessed it!

OMG tea just shot out my nose at work! Now my keyboard is f*cked! This will be my second keyboard of the week, due to your other post yesterday. This is 100% mall Ninja (literally, in a mall), you must have lost your mind. You are running around with a cocked 92FS on your chest as a BACKUP...
  18. Massachusetts moonbattery just got pwned by a NH Walmart, and my mother witnessed it!

What, no backup for the backup in an ankle holster? Sounds pretty underguned my man. I mean, is 6 mags really enough to deliver cash at the Prudential Center in one of the busiest and nicest parts of town? I just pray you had your damn baklava on. This reminded me of that famous mall ninja...
  19. I Really like Mass Firearms School

Guess the employee we asked about it was misinformed too :-). Probably just got nervous since my friend was like "I'll just go get my AK from the car..." hahahaha. We were told that we could only shoot 10mm and 44 mag on the front range (but we were allowed both). Are the backstops different...
  20. I Really like Mass Firearms School

I was there when they were shooting the AK on time on the front range, it was frangible ammo, and they probably loaded it wicked low in terms of powder too. Their backstop cannot handle rifle calibers, so put it out of your mind. I mean, you can't even shoot 10mm or .44 mag on the rear range.
