Rutland Sportsman Club isn't too bad, I've been shooting there before. They are a bar club though. There is also Worcester Pistol and Rifle Club located in Boylston. I am a member there, if you would like a tour around the facilities let me know.
If the club wanted to protect the wall with AR500 or even 400 which is cheaper, I can cut it to size at my work on our laser. Thank you for the updates Jay, I haven't made it out to the club the last couple weeks to see the progress, might have to do that tonight.
I work for a metal shop, specifically wire and sheet metal. We can make anything as long as we have something to go by.
I am hoping we can still use steel as i enjoy it without having to go down range a bunch.
Ive been picking up a bunch of live ammo too. The other day at the indoor while doing my cleanup at the end of the night I found 4 live 9mm, no primer hits or anything. Also been leaving with a ton of .223/5.56 brass that doesn't get cleaned from in front of the new rifle stand.
I've got a couple large bore rifles (.300wm and .300RUM) I need to get reacclimated with once the club opens. I'm sure the neighbors will love me haha. Already told my boss as soon as we get the green light I'm going to need that day off so I can hit the range.
Got a call from Lee, had some issues with my email address, hopefully it gets resolved quickly. But they are sending out emails to perspective new members for March orientation. Im excited to join my first club!
Thanks guys, I'll try to make the next meeting and introduce myself. I generally have my son on Thursdays but I can work around it since I know ahead of time. Really looking forward to having a place to shoot without driving all the way to MFS.
They're way out of line. If I was there firing my .357SIG or 300blk I'd be pissed if someone was taking my brass. I understand collecting brass but you can't wait until people are gone to collect what's left behind? Probably sells 90% of it anyways..
