  2. The war that we should be fighting

You kill the supply and there will still be demand which will be satisifed from somewhere. Best to deal wih it on the demand side - lift all restrictions and deal with it with education.
  3. FACEBOOK'S INFLUENCE!!!!

She lost me with her comment about who saw those ads - "the easily convinced"... Sounds to me like another Hillary talking about her "Deplorables".
  4. Man shoots his girlfriend in the head but didn't tell her, she finds out a month later

In car arguing with EX boyfriend... Man shoots GIRLFRIEND Implying that her CURRENT boyfriend (outside the car) did the shooting ?
  5. Mass Non-Resident permit advice

Ok, so how about "protection of life and property" which I used in MA before "All Lawful purposes" came along ? Any other suggestions ?
  6. Boat Storage

I have a 20ft Center Console. In the fall I have the dealer where I bought it winterize, yearly maintenance and shrinkwrap it (~$1200) and then I store it in my yard. Been doing it for years and no critter (or falling tree) problems - except for the occasional bird nest up under the...
  7. 1500 VS 2500

Yeah, but people, activity, dogs and cats seem to keep them away. Or at least they don't take up home in the dome lights of the cars in there :-)
  8. 1500 VS 2500

Well, depending on where you live, another downside is critters... I tried this and the mice and chipmunks ate the crap out the wiring and turned it into their private nesting ground. Would never do it again unless I had a garage large enough for all vehicles.
  9. Prescription glasses/shooting glasses

For Bullseye shooting with a Red Dot I needed an entirely different prescription which was 'tuned in' for a distance of 40-50ft in order to get a nice round dot again....
  10. Woodworking assistance

This... Making your own edge banding is actually quite easy and really gives the finished product a nice look (and a much more durable edge)... For one off projects I wouldn't worry about the economics - I just finished a large office bookshelf cabinet made out of Red Oak furniture grade ply...
  11. Tell me how you really feel...

Ok, I'd pay to see that.
  12. Jogging in the street. A-holes that try to see how close they can get and my rights to defend myself

So I put in a link from Bicycling magazine and you reply about running ? Ok, whatever. The point is, I have the same right to the use roads (that my tax dollars helped build) on my bike as I do when I'm driving. Get used to it :-)

  14. Jogging in the street. A-holes that try to see how close they can get and my rights to defend myself

Well, 1) I'm not a mountain biker and 2) why should I have to drive to someplace to ride when I have miles and miles of country(ish) roads right at the end of my driveway? Anyway, I'm aware that, technically, I have the same right to the road as motorized vehicles but I'm also aware that I'm...
  15. Jogging in the street. A-holes that try to see how close they can get and my rights to defend myself

I wish I could double like this. When I go out biking it's for 20-40 miles (where am I supposed to find a bike path that long?) and I have as much 'right' to the road as the damn soccer mom driving an Escalade that almost turned me into a grease spot the other day.
