  3. How to Identify/Date a S&W

Not really, but the mouth of the holster is designed to be sorta naturally open, but there's no real structure to do it.

  10. Is the revolver inherently more reliable than the modern semi?

Many women (most?) prefer a revolver as they don't have sufficient grip strength to rack the slide. My wife can't rack my 1911's or my HP and she's no weakling.
  11. Is the revolver inherently more reliable than the modern semi?

small lightweight .32mag. Will shoot reg .32 as well. SW332 sw331
  12. Is the revolver inherently more reliable than the modern semi?

I'd argue that the game was changed long before Glock came along. The milspec M1911a1 was/is a very reliable firearm.
  13. Is the revolver inherently more reliable than the modern semi?

the keyed lock on a revolver is not a safety, it a storage lock. Some few revolvers have/had grip safeties, very much like the M1911 safeties, eg the S&W safety hammerless models. If I'm not mistaken, some company is still making this style of grip safety revolvers. A couple of SW models are...
  14. I love my Governor...never thought I would say that in Massachusetts

I figure If I can't hit a bg with 6 shots, I'm in real trouble. With the spread of the three 00 buck balls (actually a .38 cal equiv), I figure I've got a lot better chance of hitting the bad guy... 18 pieces of 38 cal lead out of one gun sounds like good odds to me. Maybe I could knock down...
  15. I love my Governor...never thought I would say that in Massachusetts

It's a revolver, dude, and a very well made one at that. It's as good and accurate a gun as any revolver. Ok, now that we know you don't like revolvers, we can ignore all your revolver complaints.
  16. I love my Governor...never thought I would say that in Massachusetts

I haven't used small shot but only 00 buck. Three pellets, and they kept together very well. I can't remember the actual measurements, but a self defense range, they would all hit a man's chest. Good enough for me.
  17. I love my Governor...never thought I would say that in Massachusetts

A Judge is not a Governor. Do you have, have you even seen, a Governor...or a Judge. If not, your opinion is very strong for something of which you have little knowledge.
