I am truly sorry for the loss of such a good man. Sadly, people like Whitney Houston get all the media coverage while the sacrifices of brave Marines like Lance Corporal Clifton go unnoticed in the media. He knowingly placed himself in harm’s way to keep America free and that bravery shall be missed. It is not fair. Corporal Clinton, his family and all of his loved ones will be in my prayers.

We – the entire nation - will always be indebted to brave men and women like Corporal Clifton. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
