The henry is picky on ammo until it is broken in. I had ZERO jams or feed issues using cci mini mags. After about 500 or so rounds of shooting FMJ mini Mags mine now feeds fine using absolute garbage like Remington lead nose bulk packs with no jams. It might actually be the most fun out of all...

I must admit I have had this happen once to me, only it was my SKS same deal tho thumb stuck. Luckily I always have my leatherman and was able to free my thumb but still not the most pleasant experience.
