Appears it may be a botched murder suicide.
WESTFORD - Authorities investigating a Saturday night double-shooting declined to give details about the incident yesterday but assured residents of this pastoral community that the crime in a wooded neighborhood near the high school was not random.
“We don’t believe there’s an armed suspect at large,’’ said Jessica Venezia, a spokeswoman for Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone. “There’s no reason to think that any students are in possible danger at this time.’’

There was an article in the Globe this morning - didn't sound like the news weasels had too many details. One nice thing about living out in this area is that the news weasels are too busy closer in towards Boston to get out here and pick at every little thing that goes on, and the local police I think tend to not release too much info to them either, especially if it's something that might not sound too good for the town.

I'll never understand murder of a spouse. Divorce may suck, but it sure beats life in prison or killing yourself.
