    Very good points. Of course doing so requires that one be able to do more than one thing at a time (sorta like thinking while typing). Sadly such skills seem to be less common these days.

    Yup good rule, they tell that to Tom Brady every Sunday, Mohammad Ali before every fight and ever solider going into to battle. Some times there's just no rules….:)

    I have seen a lot of comments about just drawing your gun. Consider for a moment, that the knife will, in most cases, come into view only at very close, bad breath, distances. At these distances, accessing a firearm will be either very difficult or impossible. Are you really going to use one hand for defense against the knife while you try to access your firearm. I have seen if tried but have never seen it succeed. This is just something to think about
