    I didn't even know that MA had a "militia". I had a buddy that was in the NY militia and had an official ID similar to the old style pink military IDs. I would be interested in joining if I lived in another state. I'm not sure I would be willing to pick up a rifle and serve under deval patrick.

    You won't have to - IIRC, they're not armed at all.

    Yes, it's been talked about on NES before. I know a couple of the responsible for leading the reactivation.
