Shooting near Dover, NH

Hi, new to this board. Just moved into Dover, NH and looking for places to shoot nearby. Clubs, ranges, public land, safe "open areas." I've looked into Major Waltron's club, and may join, but would like to know if there's anywhere safe and open to just go plinking.

I grew up in Dover....We used to walk to the sand pits on Mast Road carrying our rifles/gear down rt 108 heading towards Durham.....DONT TRY THAT TODAY

This was in the late 80's before NH was overun by moonbats.

I am sorry, I know of zero public land left where you can target shoot....Stick with Maj in Barrington..
