Just because it's been introduced doesn't mean it will go anywhere. IIRC Congress will be shutting down for the year and the bigger issue is.........................Wait for it ................
It's an election year,no one wants to raise the ire of the gun lobby with the Presidential election just around the corner.

People need to be made aware of this. If not we will go through the same thing that happened with the first AWB. I'm sure that if this is publicized there will be a nationwide backlash as there was after the first, but maybe it will happen before a ban is enacted. This should generate some grass roots action.
