Hi Rick,
How is this class filling up? I am still interested in taking it, I just wanted to try shooting first. I was able to put shots inside of a 5.5 inch target and the other 2 inside of a 7 inch ring. So I am not to worried about having to hit a paper plate. I remember you saying 10 shots inside a paper plate at 40' but how many targets do you need to qualify?

Several Seats Remain.
Candidate will shoot any gun of their choice, regardless of action, sights or caliber, at a
blank 9 inch diameter paper target at a distance of 15 yards. Candidates will fire 20 shots
from a two-handed, unsupported, standing position. Targets will be broken into two tenshot
targets or four five-shot targets. Three points will be given for each scoring hit. In
order for a hit to count, it must fall inside a ½” border from the edge of the plate. Shots
that break the edge of the ½” border will count as hits. All scoring hits on a target must
be within a 6” or less extreme spread. Candidates will be allowed to shoot
their own firearms if desired. Two requalification shoots are allowed within any 24-hour
period.NRA Training Counselor

Thanks Rick, I will have to practice a little more to make sure I can keep the spread with in 6". I was using my M&P 9. But I will try my Ruger MKIII Hunter. I think I will have no problem with that.

Hey Rick, I talked to you a couple months ago about going to the last class, unfortunately I was unable to attend, I am hopping that I can attend this upcoming class, I will have to call you Monday.
I though the range qualifications were at 45' 10 shots 80% 6" group.
I believe that is what you told me when I talked to you, did that change? It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us Freedom of Press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us Freedom of Speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the Freedom to Demonstrate.
It is the soldier, who salutes the flag,
who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag
that allows the protester to burn the flag.

I would love to take this course but my daughters parents weekend conflicts. Do you have an idea if/when you may offer this combination again?
Thanks
